About ups tracking Expo 2020

"The hosts of Expo 2020 wanted a facility that would stand the test of time and there are no other entrances like this on the planet," said Martin Osswald, CEO of HA-CO. "The detailed specifications for this project and the advanced manufacturing technology of the carbon fiber parts that make up the entrance portals demonstrate Expo 2020's commitment to excellence.

"Getting every piece delivered on time and with all the logistics planned in advance by UPS was critical to keeping Expo Dubai on schedule," Osswald added. "It is incredible for us to imagine that 25 million visitors will pass through these iconic doors made in Germany."

Expo 2020 has chosen UPS as its official logistics partner for an event that is billed as the "greatest show in the world" by the organizers, on a site roughly the size of over 600 football fields, with 192 countries confirmed for participation. To support Expo 2020, UPS draws on its experience as a logistic sponsor of the 2012 Olympic Games in London and the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

"Driving or flying over the Expo 2020 site, you can't help but notice one of the world's most sophisticated and synchronized peacetime logistics operations in full swing," said Alan Williams, UPS Vice President of Operations for Expo 2020 “When it is necessary to move something so monumental in size, proportions and importance from all over the world to Dubai, the organizers of the Expo have trusted UPS. We are excited to deliver! "

The UAE is home to one of the busiest airports in the world, Dubai International, along with the port of Jebel Ali, the largest container port outside the Far East. UPS has operated in the region since 1989 and has strategically located its Indian subcontinent, Middle East and African headquarters in Dubai.
